Why Nikkole Paulun Faked a Pregnancy & Stillbirth: A Timeline of Events & Look into the Lies

It has sure been one crazy week in the land of Teen Mom gossip! If you've been following the Nikkole Paulun fake baby saga, keeping track of all the information can be challenging. Based on information from various sources, as well as Twitter and 16 and Pregnant Teen Mom sulia, we have composed a "Timeline" of events and the motivation behind Nikkole faking her pregnancy.

Here are some tidbits of info, backstory, and possible motivations for Nikkole's fake pregnancy.

- Nikkole Paulun and her friend Mike have been having an on-again / off-again fling for the past two years. Apparently Nikkole was very persistent and wanted to be in a relationship with Mike, however he was more interested in a "friends with benefits" type of deal.

- Nikkole allegedly has a history of faking pregnancies. According to sources close to Mike, Nikkole claimed she was pregnant over a year ago and was going to get an abortion. This apparently turned out to be false.

- Mike entered into a relationship with a woman named Teri. Nikkole was not happy with this news, and within 24 hours of finding this out, began implying that she may be pregnant.

- Due to her history and convenient timing of her announcement, Mike and his girlfriend has serious doubts on the validity of the pregnancy. They confronted Nikkole and demanded she take a test in their presence. They met at a Walmart, where Teri waited outside the bathroom stall while Nikkole took two test (both which were positive).

- This did little to help their suspicions however, as Teri did NOT hear her urinate! This fact just added to the confusion. It was later revealed that Nikkole had used urine from her pregnant cousin- EW!

- Over the next several months it was relayed back to Mike that Nikkole had been seen around town sporting a large belly one day..and without the next. In addition a couple of men came forward who had apparently hooked up with Nikkole (and due to the timeline of things, would have been very pregnant) and stated that she had a perfectly flat stomach.

- At one point Mike's mother bumped into Nikkole while out. Red flags were raised when she asked to see Nikkole's stomach and was denied. When she reached over to touch her stomach, the fake belly moved under her shirt!

- The drama train officially took off in early August, when Teri ran into a tiny, bikini-wearing Nikkole at a weekend long music fest! When she was cornered, she claimed the baby was born on July 28th. Problem was, one of Teri's friends say Nikkole wearing the fake belly on July 30th!

- This news completely shocked Nikkole's best friend, Sam. Sam had spoken to Nikkole the night before and was told she was still pregnant! Sam looked through Nikkole's house and found fake ultrasounds, the infamous fake belly, and photos of a stillborn baby on her phone (which was dated early on in her pregnancy). This may show that she had planned the stillborn "birth" for quite sometime- it was all pre-meditated!

- Sam has also come out stating that while she was in the hospital giving birth to her own daughter, Nikkole stole things from the hospital, and also used the opportunity to take a photograph of herself in a hospital bed with a baby wrapped up- Lyle kissing it's head. Horrific.

- It seems that Nikkole faked her pregnancy for several reasons. The obvious being to try to win back the man she had feelings for and ruin his relationship, but also for financial reasons. In addition to selling her story to various media outlets, she was making money blogging about her pregnancy.

Nikkole Paulun Releases FAKE Medical Records after Claiming She Gave Birth to a Stillborn Baby

Sorry Nikkole Paulun, but the jig is up, and the proof is in the pictures. (Check them out below!)

Nikkole Paulun and son Lyle

MTV "16 and Pregnant" star Nikkole Paulun just opened up a whole new can of worms. The teen mom stirred up quite the reaction on Twitter and Facebook after claming she was pregnant with her second child. Just this week Nikkole released tragic news that she had given birth to a stillborn baby on July 28th. While fans reached out to offer condolences and support, others (including family and friends of Nikkole) claimed the entire pregnancy and birth were faked in a plot to get win back an ex-fling. A former roommate even stated that Nikkole had a fake, prosthetic belly, which she had seen herself in person.

Nikkole vehemently denied these allegations, and yesterday, in an attempt to douse the media firestorm, released what she claimed were copies of her medical records from her stillbirth to Radar Online. While at first glance the medical records looked legitimate, our BS meter went off big time due to one, simple fact: the paper had no folds or creases as they would have if mailed in an envelope, as standard medical bills do. Nikkole still stuck by her story.

But as often seen, if you mess with the internet..you're going to get burned. Below we have several interesting pictures...one is a shot Nikkole posted of her firstborn son, Lyle, shortly after birth (a screenshot from her 16 and Pregnant episode). You will also see a close up of the account number on the bill she released to RadarOnline. Here's the problem- the account number from her hospital band (from her first birth) and on the medical bill (from her "second" birth) ARE THE SAME. Hospitals use account numbers to keep track of patients and for billing and insurance reason. Each hospital visit you are assigned a completely different account number. There is NO way possible you would have the same account number twice. This does not happen. This is cold, hard proof that the medical records Nikkole tried to pass off as recent, are from her first birth, with the dates forged to make it appear recent.

If that's not clear enough for ya, try this on for size. Below is a photo Nikkole posted of Lyle's crib card from 2009. Next is a close up of a section of her "new" hospital bills, which includes the room number in which she gave birth to her deceased child. Isn't it interesting that the room numbers on Lyle's crib card and her "new" medical bills are exactly the same?!

Nicole Paulun's medical records show she just 'happened' to be in Room 313 again! Opps!

Over the past several days piecing through this puzzle, we were fairly certain Nikkole's stillbirth was a figment of her imagination. Todays evidence is the rock solid proof we needed to determine it is in fact, a hoax. It's just so hard to imagine how someone could take this to the level she did, to the point she even had her three year old son anxiously awaiting the arrival of a big brother that never existed. The degree of thought and time it took to keep this going is mind blowing. From using a fake belly..to photoshopping pictures of herself and altering medical records..it's quite scary. We truly hope that Ms. Paulun reaches out to a professional and get the help is seems she so badly needs. Our heart breaks for little Lyle.

Nikkole Paulun has "Stillborn Baby"- Was she Faking her Pregnancy?!

Did MTV's 16 and Pregnant star Nikkole Paulun FAKE her 2nd Pregnancy and subsequent Stillbirth? Read on to find out why we think the below picture could prove that EVERYTHING was a lie.

*Part One*

"16 and Pregnant" alum Nikkole Paulun shocked fans in this winter, revealing that she was pregnant with her second child. The months leading up to the birth of her first son Lyle in 2009 were documented by MTV camera crews. The episode showcased the all too familiar scenario we've seen repeated many times in the series: a fun loving high school cheerleader and immature boyfriend (Josh) fail to use condoms, resulting in a 9 month drama fest, which includes Josh ditching her in the parking lot of the homecoming dance and flirting with another girl behind her back. The delivery room serves dual purposes as a birthing suite and verbal boxing ring with Mr. Right and Nikki's mom arguing over who "trumps" the other during a screaming match as Nikkole watches on, wincing in labor pain. Of course, very few teen romances have happy endings, and soon after Lyle's birth it was discovered that Josh had been cheating on his pregnant girlfriend.

During this episode it was hard not to scream at the TV. Whether it was clever editing, or true life, it was heartbreaking to watch soft-spoken Nikkole allow Josh to walk all over her time and again, blatantly disrespecting her and putting his desires before the well being of his child. During the final scene, Nikkole speaks into the camera about her situation, seeming to finally realize the harsh reality and struggles that result in having a child at such a young age.

We had high hopes that Nikkole. But the statistics on subsequent repeat pregnancies for teen moms are shocking. One in 5 women who give birth before the age of 18 will become pregnant again within two years. So when news broke that Nikkole was once again pregnant, it was more disappointing than surprising. We occasionally checked in on her progress, keeping abreast of news through her VERY frequent tweets and videos. She allowed fans an all-access look into her pregnancy, sharing updates and news such as the sex of the baby (it was a boy) and announcing in a Keek video that the father was not Josh, but "an unsupportive friend". Nikki appeared to be happy and healthy. Little Lyle seemed thrilled in a cellphone video where the big-brother-to-be excitedly said how he wanted to see his sibling"on the screen", referring to an ultrasound video.

But happiness soon turned to horror when Nikkole revealed this week she had suffered a still-birth. Suddenly it was all quiet on the social media front, instead opting to give an exclu$ive interview to Radar Online.

"Everything was going okay and last month, my doctor told me that if everything was okay, I could deliver on Aug. 25, which was a week before my due date. But then on July 27, I felt really weird all day and I kept telling my mom something didn’t feel right.” Nikkole decided the best option would be to go to the hospital that afternoon to check things out and get an ultrasound. “They just told me, ‘We’re sorry. He doesn’t have a heartbeat. We’re going to have to deliver to prevent infections and everything. They gave me the chance to get an autopsy, but I chose not to."

My first thought upon reading the interview with Nikkole was how absolutely tragic this is. I can think of nothing worse than losing a child, and my heart broke for her. Curious as to how she was dealing with this horrific loss, I took to her Twitter for answers. What I saw was shocking. There was not one mention of her ordeal, minus a link to her Radar interview. Backtracking, I checked out her tweets from July 27th, the day she supposedly began feeling that something was not right. There were retweets, a mention that "spoiling a girl with food" is the best way to win her heart and "Savages is the baddest movie ever!" Okay...a bit odd for someone who is in the hospital getting tests done and finding out her child had died, but maybe everyone deals differently? But perhaps the oddest set of Tweets took place on July 28th- the day she claimed to deliver the baby after an induction. We'll let you take a look at them yourselves...

"I don't give a damn bout my bad reputation"...#SluttyGirlProblems...Shit Talking...Worst Texter Ever?! REALLY?! The following morning she posted that she was at Taco Bell. So here's a girl who JUST delivered a baby the prior evening, who (as with any delivery) would remain in the hospital AT THE VERY LEAST overnight, and she is somehow at her local fast food joint? This is the point where I started to get confused. The odd, inappropriate, and downright improbable nature of the tweets did not sit right.

I began reading other web pages that talked about the sad news and noticed that many sites, and the comments on them, suggested that Nikkole may not only have faked this tragic incident...but perhaps faked the entire pregnancy itself! On several blogs (and even comments on Radar Online's exclusive interview with her) various people claiming to be friends and family members of Ms. Paulun stated that they knew for a fact that the entire pregnancy was a sham! Others stated that they lived locally to Nikkole and saw her out and about, including at her work. As one poster wrote "One day she had a flat stomach, the  very next day she had a HUGE belly." Even her cousin Brielle chimed in, explaining why this was happening.

The following day Nikkole went to a weekend long music fest, talked about getting drunk, and became so rowdy she was kicked out of her hotel. Below is a photo she posted from said event. Notice the perfectly flat stomach DAYS after giving birth. Also keep in mind after delivering a full term baby your breast milk comes in heavily within 2 days. Anyone with children can attest to the fact that breast pads become a daily part of life. How is Nikkole able to wear a teeny bikini?

There are MANY more bizarre and obvious signs that Nikkole's pregnancy was not what it seemed, including PROOF of fake ultrasound pictures found through Google with the original mother's name removed and her's photo shopped over it. We will be exploring part two of this tomorrow. In the meantime, we're leaving you with one final oddly shaped piece of this puzzle.

Check out this photograph Nikkole posted of herself, pregnant with baby number two. Take a GOOD, LONG LOOK AT HER STOMACH. Do you notice anything? Color inconsistency? I did. I immediately noticed what appeared to be either a rolled up towel or pillow under her sweatshirt. I used my *very* basic computer skills to lighten the photo to see the contrast more in depth. Something doesn't look right.

Did Nikkole Paulun fake her pregnancy?

What do YOU think about Nikkole Paulun's pregnancy? Was it legit, or was she faking it all along? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

STAY TUNED FOR PART TWO, TOMORROW MORNING!

MTV Teen Mom 3 Set to Air End of Summer

MTV's Teen Mom 3 Welcomes New Cast, Set to Air in August

Move over Jenelle, Leah, Chelsea and Kailyn- there's a new group of gals about to take over your reality thrones! Recently, MTV annouced plans to air Teen Mom 3, the  trilogy of the franchise that sky rocketed regular young moms into certified TV stars. Rumors have buzzed for months that Teen Mom 2 was cancelled (allegedly due to Jenelle Evan's near constant problems and run in's with the law). Though the network has yet to officially confirm, the fact that shooting for TM3 recently wrapped, it seems entirely plausible that it's now officially out with the old, in with the new.

The series will continue with the current format viewers have come to love, following the lives of four teenage girls from past '16 and Pregnant' seasons as they face the every day realities of raising children, going to school, working and attempting to maintain romance in their busy lives. And if their '16 and Pregnant' episodes provide any hint of foresight...this show with be jam packed with drama...just as MTV (and fans) seem to adore.

The cast members are as follows: Briana DeJesus (19), Mackenzie Douhit (18), Alexandria Sekella (19), and Katie Yeager (19). Since we last saw the girls some have married, some have broken up, some have moved, and some have had a bit of trouble with the police (shocking, right?!). The show is anticipated to begin airing mid-August, though the official date has not yet been released.

Check back tomorrow as we give you a refresher course on the girls, their babies, and stories.
